How do I join?
It’s very simple! Just come out to one of the general meetings (on Zoom), introduce yourself, and ask one of the staff members to add you to the email list! That’s all!
How are things changing from 2020-2021 year?
We will be having weekly photography challenges for our members as well as virtual workshops and meetings through Zoom. We hope to make this year as interactive and social as possible!
How do I join the mailing list/newsletter?
Click on the "Join Mailing List" button at the top of this page, which will direct you to the signup form!
Are there any fees I need to pay?
No, there are no fees this quarter!
Do I need an expensive camera to join?
No! You don’t even need a camera to join! If you are just interested in the club, feel free to check us out!
When do you guys meet?
We meet usually once a week either on a weekday or the weekend. For the 2020-2021 school year, we will be hosting Zoom meetings and workshops. Please follow our newsletter and Facebook group to stay up to date with future events or workshops.
What do you do at the club meetings?
Our meetings consist of either photo outings, workshops, or guest speakers.
1) Photo Outing: The club will go out to various places near UCLA within the LA area to shoot photos. We go by either ride shares, bus, or drivers from the club.
2) Workshops: Presentations by staff (on composition, technique, equipment, etc)
3) Guest Speakers: Professional photographers and alumni will come in to give presentations on various photography topics such as wedding photography, film, etc. They can also provide information regarding photography as a business or profession.

What are photo outings?
After every meeting, we go out together and take photos together. In the past we have been to Downtown LA, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Santa Monica Pier, and the 3rd Street Promenade.
How do I access meeting recordings?
Workshop recordings are only available for current photography club members. If you'd like to request access, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org along with verification that you are currently a UCLA student.
